This big building is the home of MI6 What is MI6?
MI6 is the sister organisation to MI5 and is officially called the Secret Intelligence Service.

In fact it was so secret that the government didn't even admit it existed until 1994!

  • Its role is to gather information abroad and it's part of the Foreign Office

  • MI6 agents carry out secret undercover operations all over the world including Northern Ireland, Africa and the Middle East, including Iraq.

  • It provides information for the government and reports to the Foreign Secretary

  • The chief is called C and MI6's offices are based in Vauxhall Cross, London
