What is intelligence?
Who are the intelligence agencies?

Number 10 Downing Street - the security services help the Government Who are the intelligence agencies?
There are three main agencies: MI5, MI6 and GCHQ. The DIS is also important as it analyses information on weapons.

The Joint Intelligence Committee (JIC) collects and looks at all the intelligence provided by MI5, MI6 and GCHQ.

The JIC meets once a week in the Cabinet Office and they wrote the dossier at the centre of the Lord Hutton Report.
