Prince Harry has said he wants to be a soldier when he gets older, St James Palace has confirmed.

While he was at the famous posh school, Eton, he got to the top rank of officer cadet in the school's Combined Cadet Force and led the annual parade.

Harry is epected to take entry exams for Sandhurst military academy and, if he is successful, join fellow cadets there in January 2005.
