What is living in care?
Why do children live in care?
Do kids in care ever go back to their parents?
What problems do children living in care face?

 
These child actors star in the CBBC series Tracy Beaker, a story about a girl who lives in a children's home Do kids in care ever go back to their parents?
In most cases, children are only meant to live in care as a temporary measure.

Over half of all kids in care end up returning home in less a year.

Although for some staying in care is the best option. Only about one in 25 children stay in care for 10 years or more.
