Norman Cook DJ
Norman Cook
Who can do it?
A good DJ loves music and can pick out the rhythms from tracks in their mind.

Get started
You can start by putting some of your fave tunes on a tape.

Put them in what you think is a nice order. Play them to your mates and see what they think.

Play at a party
See if other people like you choice of music. Offer to play for friends and family.

Equipment
This could be a problem, if you want to mix two tracks together you need twin record decks and a cross-fader. These will cost at least 300.

Contact your local council to see if there are any youth projects that have decks you can use.
