Young people can be put under pressure to take drugs from their friends or other people. But drugs are illegal and everyone has the right to say no.

Recent research suggested almost one in 10 children between 11 and 15 years old had taken drugs in the previous month.

But the government has promised to halve the number of young people using illegal drugs, like ecstasy, by the year 2008.
