Other ways to fight stress
Some schools have started beating stress in unusual ways!

Teachers at Turves Green Girls' School in Birmingham want pupils to eat bananas in class while listening to classical music because they think it's good for the brain.

A school in Toxteth, Liverpool have converted a room into a "Quiet Place" - where pupils can go when it all becomes too much.

Other schools have started 'stress busting' by having:

  • fun study groups

  • Tai Chi classes

  • stress management courses

  • 'chill-out' rooms with soft lighting and soothing smells
