Ramblers and walkers
The Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000

This is a law that will let the public walk on land in the English countryside. The land must be uncultivated (not used to grow crops).

Many farmers and people who own the land are worried. They think visitors might cause damage or harm animals.

They are particularly worried about people letting their dogs off the lead while walking on farms.
