What is Megan's Law?
How does it work?
What is Sarah's Law about?
Would Sarah's Law work?
What is being done in the UK now?

Bill Clinton
Bill Clinton, who signed Megan's Law
How does it work?
Megan's Law operates differently across the 50 states of America.

In Oregon, for instance, people who hurt children can be forced to put a sign in their window, admitting they have done this.

In Louisiana, a company offers e-mail alerts to parents which warns them when a dangerous person moves near their home.

In Washington, police are allowed to call at every house in the neighbourhood to warn people that someone who has hurt children is moving in nearby.
