Solvent abusers deliberately take in the gasses given off by some household products like glues, aerosols and paints.

They do this to make themselves feel dizzy and light-headed. They might also suffer from hallucinations, which means seeing or hearing things that aren't really there. Other effects are sickness and drowsiness.
