There are some ways to help your hayfever:
- Stay away from grassy places
- Sleep with the windows closed
- Don't go out in the early evening - this is when there's most pollen about
- Wear shades or dark glasses
Muriel Simmons of the British Allergy Foundation said: "The major problem is that people leave it too late - they wait until the symptoms start before they take the medication."
"They actually need to take it from about three to four weeks before the season starts."
