  Hayfever
What is hayfever?
Is there a cure?
How can I avoid it?
Why are more people getting hayfever?
Why does it happen in the summer?

How can I avoid it?
There are some ways to help your hayfever:
  • Stay away from grassy places

  • Sleep with the windows closed

  • Don't go out in the early evening - this is when there's most pollen about

  • Wear shades or dark glasses

Muriel Simmons of the British Allergy Foundation said: "The major problem is that people leave it too late - they wait until the symptoms start before they take the medication."

"They actually need to take it from about three to four weeks before the season starts."
