  The Bee Gees
Who are the Bee Gees?
Where are they from?
Why are they important?
What songs would I know?
Who has covered their songs?

Where are they from?
The Bee Gees are brothers and were all born in the Isle of Man, but moved to Manchester in the 50s.

They started performing in their bedroom, and were so good at close harmonies that their mum thought they were the radio!

The family moved to Australia in 1958, and the brothers carried on writing songs. Their first Australian number one, Spicks and Specks, was followed by UK number one, New York Mining Disaster 1941.
