Chewbacca

Han and Chewbacca smuggled goods past the Imperial patrols for years, but on one occasion, Storm Troopers boarded the Falcon and seized his cargo.

The cargo belonged to the criminal Jabba the Hut, who blamed Han for getting caught. Jabba offered a reward to bounty hunters to find and kill Han.

Han knew his only way to pay Jabba back was to be paid to take a risky trip from Tatooine to Alderaan carrying with him Obi-wan Kenobi, Luke Skywalker and their two droids, C-3PO and R2-D2. Han could then use the money to pay off Jabba.

However, on their way to Alderaan, the gang were captured and taken aboard an Imperial space station, the infamous Death Star.

Han and Chewbacca helped rescue rebel leader Princess Leia and were allowed to escape the Death Star, as they led the Empire to the rebel's secret base.

Jabba the Hutt

Han joined the rebels and helped defeat the Death Star. He and Princess Leia fell in love, but he was captured by the Empire with the help of a bounty hunter, Boba Fett.

He was frozen in carbonite and given to Jabba.

Luke and his friends freed Han from the carbonite and Jabba, and returned him to Leia's arms.

Han went on to lead a mission on the forest moon of Endor so that the Empire could be beaten once and for all.
