LeBron James LeBron James
How did he do in Athens?
Not so well, as the USA's supposed Dream Team only won the bronze medal at the Games.

They also suffered a lot of defeats on the way to Puerto Rico and Lithuania in the group stages and then Argentina in the semi-finals.

What Newsround said before the Games?
The next Michael Jordan is a tag many young basketball players in the US have been handed, but LeBron James could be the real thing.

He went straight from High School into the NBA and was named rookie of the year after his first season with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Only two other rookies - one being Jordan - have ever finished their first season averaging more than 20 points, five rebounds and five assists per game.

The 19-year-old will be under huge pressure at the Games, but after succeeding so well in the NBA, should be able to cope with ease.
