How did she do in Athens?
Not so well, reaching the final of the 200m backstroke, but as world champion would have expected better than seventh out of eight.
She also finished last in her semi-final in the 100m backstroke.
What did Newsround say before the Games?
Having finished 10th in the 100m backstroke in Sydney aged 18, Katy Sexton has improved immensely to go to Athens as a real gold medal chance.
She won the 200m backstroke at the world championships in 2003, and took silver in the 100m backstroke there as well.
Amazingly, considering no British swimmer won a medal in Sydney, her biggest rival could be team-mate Sarah Price.
In fact there is a good chance the duo could both come home with gold medals, Price in the 100m and Sexton in the 200m.
