Cool kids for a cool climate - UK
This site has been set up by 13-year-old Sarah Bowler from the UK. On the way back from an environmental conference in Canada she realised how bad all the fumes from the planes were for the planet. So Sarah set up a website that promotes the idea of planting trees to make up for the damage transport does to the world.
Kidzdom - Australia
Andrew Fei from Australia wanted to pass on his knowledge of animation to other kids from around the world. As well as showing off his own computer animation skills the 16 year old also has put together tutorials and exercises that can help others learn how it's done.
The Daily Prophet - USA
Heather Lawver started this huge community site for fans of Harry Potter to use their writing skills, with every member adopting a name just like the ones from the books. The site also offers loads of advice for other kids setting up fansites.
Bonjour.org.uk - UK
A teacher based in the UK, Stephane Derone, created this site to help children learn French using games, quizzes and other fun stuff. He is now going on to create other sites to help kids learn German, Spanish and Italian too.
