What are the Cable and Wireless Childnet Awards?
The Awards are a way of rewarding some of the best sites on the internet created for children as well as by children.

They are awarded by the children's internet charity Childnet International, which works to help make to make the Internet a great and safe place for children.

The C&W Childnet Awards are split into four categories:

Individual
Schools
Not for profit
New the Net

There is also a special best of the best prize this year, The Newsround Viewer's Award
