Britain's medal hopes
Britain has two very good medal hopes and a number of outside chances.

The best chance of a medal comes in a sport called the skeleton, where competitors lie on what looks like a dinner tray and then launch themselves down a bobsleigh run.

In the women's event the current world champion is British - Alex Coomber.

Another good chance comes in the women's snowboarding with Lesley McKenna. She finished third in last year's half pipe World Cup and has two top five finishes this season already.

An outside chance is slalom skier Alain Baxter who has finished in the top 10 in four different World Cup events during his career.

Apart from those three, Britain may challenge for top 10 places in the bobsleigh, curling and perhaps short track speed skating.
