  People should leave celebs alone!
Updated 02 August 2004, 08.44
Britney Spears
Louise thinks that celebrities get too much of a hard time and thinks that their private lives should be kept out of the papers.

Here's why she thinks we should leave them alone.

"Celebrities are always appearing in newspapers and magazines, their personal lives being displayed for the world to see.

But I think celebrities are as entitled to privacy as anyone else.

Bad example

If a celebrity does something bad, it's all over the newspapers, whereas for normal people, no-one would care.

Not only is this embarrassing for the celebrities, it sets a bad example.

If someone sees a report saying their favourite celeb punched someone and thinks 'Oh, if they did it, I want to too!

Tiniest mistakes

I do think that celebs don't deserve the amount of money they get - just to sing, play football or whatever.

But it only just compensates for having everything they do open to everyone, known by anyone who wants to know, and having their tiniest mistakes published, making them look really bad.

So I say, we should leave them alone!

Doesn't a person's privacy matter more than your curiosity?"
