Rebecca is tired of seeing bands with either all girls or all boys in them.
In her report she tells us why she thinks bands sound better with a mixture of girls and boys.
"I feel there aren't enough mixed bands out in the music world.
For instance, there used to be S Club and Steps but since they split up there have been less mixed groups.
Boys or girls
There are lots of boy bands like Westlife and Busted.
And also lots of girl bands like Girls Aloud and Sugababes.
Most kids want to be pop stars when they're older and while they're kids they make up little groups of friends and sing songs together.
Nearly all fake bands at my school are mixed.
Own band
My friend is in a group with two other girls and a boy.
I'm creating a band with my friend and two other boys too as then I feel we have different voices mixed together.
I hope in the future more bands will be a mixture of girls and boys."
