Hannah went to London Fashion Week and interviewed PPQ designers Percy Parker and Amy Molyneaux.
Here's what they told her about getting into the fashion business.
You've recently designed a collection for the high street chain Top Shop - why's that?
Percy: It was a good opportunity because we don't like clothes to be too expensive - it's a good opportunity to put a collection out that's more accessible to people who don't have the money to spend £200 on a piece.
How did you change the clothes so they're more affordable?
Amy: Top Shop's price conscious obviously because you've got younger clientele going in there - young girls with pocket money. So you get the look, might change the fabric a bit, use a different button but the cut essentially is the same.
Percy: You can do it with cheaper fabrics, that's a good way of doing it ...
Amy: ... so the same dress and instead of 100 per cent silk we might slip a bit of viscose or polyester in there.
How long does it take you to make a collection, from your first ideas to the show?
Percy: Depends what season is - this season is five months and the next season is seven months.
Amy: But then this summer is longer so you get two months to sunbathe!
What tips would you give to a young fashion designer?
Amy: Stick to your guns.
Percy: Get out there.
How did you become a designer - did you go to fashion college?
Amy: I went to fashion college but I learnt everything I know when I was at school.
Percy: I went to my tailor and had stuff made.
What's you're favourite era of fashion?
Amy: It's not the favourite era it's the lifestyle that you live. So if you say Victorian, unless you're rich, it was a pretty hard time to live in. So probably for me the birth of the teenager - 1950s and the 1960s.
