Ghana is a very dry country. In Ghana people walk many kilometres to get water. Ghana suffers from a lack of water.
In Vietnam they have dirty water from floods. Vietnam suffers severe annual flooding.
Brilliant day
This term in our school, the West Town School in Peterborough, the geography topic for the whole of year five and six is water. Our class did an assembly about water in front of the whole school. The message in the assembly was for people to appreciate the water we have in this country.
We also made posters to put up around the school to remind the children to bring money for the Day For Change.
I enjoyed being in my home clothes for the day. I also enjoyed the class assembly which was fun - it was a brilliant day!"
