Lyndsey went to Africa with her family and in her report describes a close encounter she had with a group of baboons.
"My Mum, my Dad and I went on holiday to Zambia (a country in Southern Africa next to Victoria Falls).
On one day we climbed down to the bottom of the river to watch some bungee jumpers.
In the trees
As we were climbing back up, however, we had a nasty shock.
Suddenly a group of baboons surrounded us in the trees.
They had baby baboons as well so they were very protective of them.
My Dad told us to stand very still but they weren't going away!
Baboons are very aggressive and powerful animals that are about the size of a large dog.
The largest ever baboons are found around Southern Africa - where we were!
Luckily after a while they moved and left us but I was petrified.
It was definitely a holiday to remember."
