Most people love eating chocolate.
But some plain chocolate bars contain traces of nuts and for people with a nut allergy this can be dangerous.
Sophie's allergic to nuts and in her report she thinks that more should be done to stop this happening.
"If you were asked about your favourite food, I bet a lot of you would probably say chocolate.
But chocolate for me and a growing number of other people could be dangerous.
I am allergic to nuts. I found this out when I was five and I am now 14, so I have had it most of my life.
I don't want anyone to feel sorry for me - there are thousands of other people out there with worse problems.
I just want to make other people aware.
When food allergy sufferers react there are degrees of seriousness.
Some people get lumps on their lips or tongue.
Some people's throats swell and they have difficulty breathing, and some pass out.
It is quite easy to be careful in everyday life, but the problems come when eating chocolate.
Many chocolate bars now say 'may contain traces of nuts', but there are still lots which don't.
My friend had a serious reaction in the summer when she ate a plain bar of chocolate that had a nut in it.
These mix-ups come from the production lines in factories.
Different chocolate bars are mixed up together which can lead to nuts in bars and traces of nuts.
This is very dangerous and it's time these companies did something about it."
