I went to record the words for the clock in a studio in Shepherds Bush in London. I was there for a day but it only took half a day really - we were also recording the news story to go out on Newsround.
First of all we did all the minutes, all the hours, all the seconds and the 'o'clocks' and 'precisely'. And then they chopped up my voice and put it together to make the time over 24 hours.
I sounded weird!
Although I hadn't practiced I was very nervous and when it was played back to me in the studio I thought "Oh no, that's too weird!".
It didn't sound much like my voice at all. I thought I sounded too high pitched!
Recording the speaking clock wasn't scary - I quite enjoyed it and I thought it was a lot of fun.
I've told all my friends about. Though I want them to ring in to raise money for charity it might be a bit embarrassing.
I've already had a bit of teasing from one friend but they're all very supportive."
