I'm an extra in Prisoner of Azkaban!
Updated 20 September 2003, 12.10
Harrison is an extra in the third Potter film
Harrison is an extra in the third Harry Potter film, the Prisoner of Azkaban.

He tells us what it's like being in such a huge movie.

"When I found out I was going to be in the next Harry Potter film, I just couldn't believe it.

I'm in an acting agency and they put me forward for the audition.

So I went along but I didn't really think anything would happen.

Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson on the Prisoner set
Then they rang me up and told me I had got a part as one of the extras. I was really surprised. You don't think things like that will happen to you.

'Not read the books!'

I really like the Harry Potter films, but I've not read the books. I found them hard to get into.

I've basically had to go to Hertfordshire for a few days to do filming, and I've got to go back and do some more days later.

It was great fun on set. I don't get to say anything, I'm just wandering around in the background.

Wearing Hogwarts' robes

Sir Michael Gambon is the new Dumbledore
I'm in a few scenes. I'm not allowed to say much but I'm in a scene on the staircase in Hogwarts and at a Quidditch match. It's funny because Quidditch looks so real in the films but when you're on set it looks nothing like it does on the screen.

I got to wear Hogwarts' robes but sometimes we were wearing outside clothes as well.

My classmates have been fine. They ask me lots of questions about what it's like on set and the cast.

I'm hoping this will lead onto other acting parts for me.

My sister's jealous

It's funny because my sister is the one who does lots of drama - she was in the agency and my mum just signed me up as well.

Prisoner of Azkaban
Then I got this part and now my sister's a bit jealous.

I can't wait to spot myself on screen though!

Daniel Radcliffe

I didn't speak much to the rest of the cast, but I did say hello to lots of them. I said 'Hello' to Daniel Radcliffe, the boy who plays Harry Potter, and he said 'Hello' back. He seemed nice.

I do like acting and might try to go into it later on, but I like other things too.

But it's definitely been a great experience for me so far."
