At my school in Abu Dhabi, we have six AMS tests a week, three weekly exams, re-sits of failed AMS tests, end of term exams and more.
AMS tests check all that we have learned the week before.
After school
If you fail one (less than 80% in most), you have to stay after
school and retake it.
If you fail it again you have to come in on a Thursday
morning (same as a Saturday) to take it again until you pass.
This goes on all year and I've been doing this for five years now.
I've probably done about 500 exams, so I don't think it's fair to complain."
