In her report she tells us that she just wants to be treated like everyone else.

"Diabetes is a condition and people who have diabetes are just normal like everyone else!

I have had diabetes for 10 years this Christmas and I'm sick of people thinking that I'm abnormal because of it.

Diabetes is where the pancreas (an organ below the lungs) stops working so people have to inject themselves with insulin (with a needle).

You can't catch diabetes and it can't be prevented.

My intention is to let everybody know about diabetes as it is becoming more and more common in the UK and America.

If you ever meet anybody who is diabetic please don't treat them differently from anybody else."
