Danielle lives in Singapore where many schools have been shut down because of the Sars virus.

In her report she tells us how she's been able to keep up with her school work.

"My school has been closed since 27 March and will only re-open on 16 April because of the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (Sars) virus.

But if you think we (those who have been affected) have been relaxing all this while, think again!

We are still quite busy revising and doing our homework at home.

Some of you may ask how do you do or get homework when you are not going to school?

Over the phone

Two days after all schools closed, my form teacher called me.

I was surprised as I never expected her to call the whole class, 41 pupils in all, but she did!

And over the phone, she told me the homework I needed to do.

Then, just a few days ago, I received another set of homework through the post.

Bored at home

The set of home homework consists of a practice paper for each of the main subjects I study in school - English, Mathematics, Mother tongue (Chinese, for me) and Science.

Most of my classmates feel very bored at home. So do I.

All of us cannot wait for school to start again.
