There's nothing to do where I live
Updated 01 March 2003, 09.19

Over the next two weeks, Newsround viewers and website users are being asked how millions of pounds should be spent to improve play facilities in their area.

Kristina says there's nothing to do in her area but she'd love for there to be a go-karting track.

"There is never anything to do around my area, even the kids' playground has recently been burnt.

People have no respect anymore, but I know why - it's because the teenagers have nothing better to do with their time apart from doing drugs and wrecking things.

Less vandalism

If there were more things for teenagers to do then I think there would be less vandalism.

My brother and I were thinking if we won the lottery we would build a go-karting track around by us.

I'm sure people would enjoy it but that's only a dream!

We need safer places for us to hang out.

I would tell you about the things to do around my area but there really isn't anything!"

Kristina, 14, Coventry

Why don't you write us a Press Pack report - and get it published on the site?!

It can be about anything that's happened in your local area - or your views on the news.
