Hi everyone, I'm Laura, I'm 14 and I'm a tennis player.
When I'm not playing in a tournament I train for four hours a day with my coach.
I play at one of four academies for the top young tennis players in Britain.
This is my diary.
I went to Sweden, about two weeks ago to play for Great Britain.
We had to play against other Swedish players, in singles and doubles. It was 16s and under. I didn't do that well, winning one of my four singles matches and my doubles game.
It wasn't too good. But our team won 10-8 overall which was good.
It was boys and girls in that tournament. I didn't get a chance to look around. We just get up really early, play tennis all day and then go to bed, and then get up early again.
I haven't played in many tournaments this month because I've had injury problems. I hurt my wrist one week and then one of my quadriceps - one of the leg muscles above the knee - another week.
I hurt it when we were doing some fitness stuff. I chased a wide ball and went up and reached far and it really hurt. I was out for a week and I've just started training again.
I missed a couple of tournaments, which was a shame. My injuries are getting better. I can start playing but I can't play full hours yet. When I started training again it felt quite weird.
Obviously I haven't played in a week. It's a case of getting back into the groove. I just went up and down the court, I didn't play proper tennis.
Going to World Champs in America
In my week off I still went into the centre. I had to do fitness - the things I could do, like weights and stuff. A bit of stuff on the bike. That's about it.
One exciting thing I've got coming up is the Orange Bowl World Championships in America. It's in December in Florida and I'm going to be out there for two weeks.
I found out I was going about a month ago. I'm really looking forward to it. I played in the tournament two years ago and it's really good. And unlike last time I'm playing in my own my age group too.
After that I'm going to Australia for a holiday, we're going to Perth and Sydney so I'm looking forward to that too.
Check back in a month's time to see how Laura got on at the World Championships in Florida
