Tom, 13, from Worcester was blinded in one eye last year when a firework went off in his face. He thinks banning them is a good idea.
"I reckon that they should take fireworks off the public but still keep them in big events and have them for displays like New Year and Fireworks night.
I don't think they should sell them in shops because quite a lot of children can get hold of them and get harmed like I did.
Take the mickey
People treat me a bit differently now.
Some people are a bit kinder and want to know what happened, but some people take the mickey.
I don't exactly care to be honest.
TV warnings
Every year there are TV warnings telling you not to play with fireworks but I don't think anyone takes much notice of them.
If I could go back in time I would have stood way back before the firework was lit."
