Hi everyone! My name's Nicole, I'm 16 and I'm a footballer.
I play for Arsenal and England under-17s. I've just started at Loughborough University on a three-year national football scholarship.
This is my diary.
I was injured in a match against Charlton Athletic!
I was so frustrated especially as I'd scored in the first five minutes from 20 yards out.
The injury happened during the first half. I tried to play with my leg bandaged, but I was tackled badly again.
The other team was very physical. I feel we were bullied out of the game. We were all frustrated at the ref too.
It was almost a week before I could see a physiotherapist.
When I did go, she told me I had to take a week off all training and rest up.
The team, my coach and my mum were all very supportive, but I was so frustrated.
I went back to the physio and she gave me the all-clear.
At last I was able to start running again, although she did tell me I couldn't kick a football yet. That would be another week away!
I'm able to train, finally! It was really awkward at first - I kept kicking the ball badly and missing shots.
Almost three weeks of recovery had left me completely rusty, but it did come back to me.
In all, I was lucky - I've only missed one match with Arsenal.
Loughborough's first match is this Thursday against Lincoln and I'm really looking forward to it.
Find out how Nicole's football training goes in next month's diary.
