I've tested games not out till Christmas!
Updated 29 August 2002, 16.11

Avid gaming fan Simon got a sneaky peek at some brand new computer games for Newsround. Here's what he thought of them.

I went to a special event to test all the newest computer games coming out this Christmas

I've been into gaming since I was five-years-old. I love ones where you can collect better weapons and gain more skills.

At the testing I tried out the new 007 James Bond game. It's called Night Fire and in the game you're in a submarine and have to shoot torpedos at another submarine. It was very exciting.

I also did an interview with the person who designed the new Lord of The Rings game - and I even had a go on it!

I thought this game was really really good - there was a lot of action in it and there were also bits of the movie included in it. I've been to see the film and I thought it was just as good.

My favourite game was the new Simpson's skateboard one. In it you have to try and get enough points to get $10 to buy a burger.

I kept on falling off my board skating over Crusty who falls flat on his face a lot! You could also do loads of tricks in that which was cool.

I'll be giving my friends tips on what to ask for this Christmas - I'll be asking for the Simpsons game!
