We were quick to get to the pit garages. First I changed a wheel a on James Courtney's car.
A great mechanic called Rodney showed me how to operate an air gun - I did the shot successfully first time and found my confidence.
At the first test session James left the pit to see how the car handled.
Unfortunately he reported understeer (where the car turns into a corner too early) and a loose break pedal, which the team adjusted.
I found out the car cost £100,000 to build, unlike a Formula One car, which in comparison costs £12 million!
I interviewed James and he was a really nice chap. I think we can expect to see him in Formula One soon.
I had a go in James' car - the cockpit was cramped and surprisingly the seat was very close to the floor.
Good Luck to and James Courtney in the rest of this year's championship.
It was a terrific day and I even got to wave the chequered flag!"
