That was until non-uniform day.
We always look forward to non-uniform day but I didn't realise how horrible people can be.
I wore my jeans, a top and a jacket - what I was comfortable in - but some people thought it was a fashion day.
As soon as we got into class it was "I don't like what he's wearing" or "that top is disgusting!".
Don't say daft
They even started on people not in our year, telling them they looked daft or saying that their trainers were disgusting.
I couldn't help wishing that someone had said it back to them so they knew how it felt to be called daft.
I now understand one of the reasons for wearing uniform - so no-one can get picked on because of what they are wearing."
