The gun carriage

Before the march started we were crossing the road and taking pictures. We saw lots of horses pulling the gun carriage. It was empty, ready to take the Queen Mother's coffin.

There was a lifeguard in a red and gold uniform with huge feathers in his helmet. He was grooming the horses.

As the march went past we saw Prince Harry and Prince William. We saw the crown on the coffin.

When I look back at today I might feel sad for the Queen but I will have my own memories of being here.

Good and bad things

Kids struggle to see

Some good things about today are that it was a very nice sunny day.

Also the march has a long route so plenty of people can see it. There are lots of cameras to let people at home see what is happening.

A bad thing is that you can't see very much because the adults get in the way.

To make it better they could have a special space for kids only. Or they could have a rule that adults must get out of the way."
