  'Tiger hunting is sickening'
Updated 24 January 2002, 11.01
Tiger
Anna, from Yorkshire, reports on why people should be doing more to save tigers.

"I think that tiger hunting is sickening.

Tigers are a protected species all over the world.

Even though it's completely illegal to hunt them, people are still slaying these beautiful creatures.

I have been to see them at a small zoo especially for tigers and they were trying their very best to save these endangered animals.

We should be doing more

It is terrible to think we could do a lot more to help all the tigers in the wild than we're doing at the moment.

Unfortunately zoos like the one I went to can only help a small number of these beautiful animals."
