High price to pay for presents
Updated 12 December 2001, 09.13
Presents under the tree
Alex from Hull thinks some things are more important than trendy Christmas presents.

"Some lucky children get given pocket money, but others don't.

Cool stuff

Most children love to have the latest things that are all the craze, but these things cost money and children are picked on if they don't have the cool stuff.

Presents can be expensive

Some people expect loads for Christmas but the price for something that's 'in' wouldn't be cheaper than 5.

They might want to get their family something for Christmas, and that would mean quite a few weeks of pocket money.

So what I'm trying to say is things cost money in life but friendship doesn't.

Someone's best Christmas present could be a best friend."
