It's virtual because it's taking place through a computer where the people 'attending' share their knowledge about technology.

Over 1000 people are logging on to be part of the conference.

They're asking questions by posting a message on the conference website, and the workshop presenters post replies as soon as they are able to.

Our school was chosen to host the conference because this year we won a Web Nose Award for our website.

We won the award in July, and the prize was a news computer and £500 to spend on software.

The judges said: "It's clear that the participants had great fun producing this website and learned a great deal at the same time."

'We can't keep quiet!'

We were proud of winning the award. But we were also proud of raising £700 doing events for Comic Relief, which the award is linked to.

There's a big poster in the entrance to the school that lets everybody know our school won. We can't keep quiet!
