Dogs in Beijing now have their own toilets in an attempt to get pet owners to keep the streets clean.
We want to know if you think they're a good idea.
Do you think they're a good way of helping to keep the neighbourhood clean?
Or do you think that it's the owner's responsibility to tidy up the mess and not the people who clean the streets?
E-mail and let us know what you think!

I think it's a stupid idea. Dogs are meant to poo on pavements and wee against trees. It's their way of life. Dogs aren't meant to use toilets. Sam, 11, Bournemouth
I think it's brilliant, but all brilliant ideas have their setbacks. All dogs can be trained to use it, but can the country really afford to lose so much money just to build doggy toilets? Monika, 13,Staten Island
It seems a good idea but if dog owners are too lazy to pick up their dogs mess, what's to say they'll take the time out to take them to a doggy loo? If we had them in Britain, vandals would get hold of it and spread it everywhere anyway. Vera, 15, Northants
I think it's a stupid idea. Dogs are meant to poo on pavements and wee against trees. It's their way of life. Dogs aren't meant to use toilets.
 Sam, 11, Bournemouth
Dogs can't tell you when they need the toilet in the street. Although my dog has been trained to whine when she needs the toilet in the house. Jamie, 12, West Yorkshire
It looks like a pretty good invention, but it would take ages for a dog to learn to go inside the toilet, because most dogs are comfortable and are used to going outside. I know my dog would prefer going outside and he doesn't listen so it would probably take dogs a lot of training! Hollie, 11, Maesteg
It's fab, but it won't stop the poo on the paths. Christopher, 13, Mablethorpe
The people who came up with that must be a bit doo-daa because are dogs really likely to go up to a toilet and do its stuff in it, like in cartoons. It's just crazy. Natalie, 9, Mansfield
Dogs aren't people!!!!! How annoyed would you be if you had to go on the street. Pet owners should just be more responsible for their dogs mess. It will be cat gyms for working off your feline's fury flab next!!! Ann, 13, Birmingham
So, instead of going to the toilet in the street they add more sewage to the seas? That's not really very well thought through. A better idea would be to just clean up after the dog. Hazel, 13, Cambridge
How many times have you stepped in dog poo? Well, I bet you didn't enjoy it. We are never going to convince most people to pick up dog poo so it's a fantastic idea. Becky, 10, Oswestry
What? You can't potty train a DOG! what will it be next? Fish loos! Is this world going MAD! How does your dog know when to go to the loo. You can't say, "hold your wee wee till we get to the loo!" Olivia, 10, Coventry
I don't think it will work as the dog won't know what the difference is. It may work in people's gardens where they can train the dog to go there, but in the street people should just clear up there own dog's mess. Maybe more doggy poo bins would work better? Rachel, 15, France
What? Oh my word. Is this meant to be a joke or what? How can you train a dog to go to a toilet when it needs to? If the dog simply wants to go behind a tree or something, you can't force them to go where they're supposed to. The money they're wasting could go to a charity or to help endangered species. That is honestly just a waste of good money. Claudia, 11, Paris
I think it's a great idea! It should be introduced here in England because some people ignore the fine for leaving dog mess because it's dirty. This way it's cleaner for the owner and there isn't dog poo on the streets for you to step in! Annabel, 13, Hemel Hempstead
It's horrible when you're walking down the street and you just stand in dog poo or when you sit under a tree and the ground squelches beneath you. The little huts are really cute too!! Doreen, 12, Ireland
I think it's a good idea because dogs make a mess in the streets and cleaners have to work very hard to keep the streets tidy. Mary, 10, Hong Kong
If it looks like a kennel then the dogs won't want to use it because most dogs don't like kennels Alison, 13, Tokyo
I think there should be more bins around because I have two dogs and there's lots of bags to carry. It's not very pleasant to be walking for an hour with it waiting to find a bin Rachel, 11, Bradford
I don't think it's a good idea. How do dogs know what's the toilet and what's not? Owners should clean their dogs mess up anyway. Leione, 11, Wales
You can't control where your doggy goes to the toilet. They go where they want. You can't force it to go in a certain place. Rebecca, 12, Aylesbury
I think that it's a good idea to have a dog toilet because lots of dogs wee or poo on the floor or in houses. Tania, 10, London
I think they're a really good idea because if you're old or injured you may not be able to reach to clear up the dog mess. My Nana had one and it kept her garden extra clean Sarah, 13, Stockport
I really like dogs and I think it's a good idea. My uncle's dog goes for long walks with him and he is always going to the loo. I don't like seeing the streets dirty because it doesn't set a very good example for your town. So, if we had dog toilets it would save us treading in poo. Amy, 10, Stafford
Oh come on! How could this honestly work? A dog will go to the toilet when it wants to, not when it sees it's friendly little hut to use the toilet in. In my local park every day I see people pretend it's not their dog when they're going to the toilet and then just walk off. If they're too mean to clean it up, then why on earth would they go out of their way to bring them to a toilet? Maisy, 14, Southampton
I think it's a good idea, but to get the dogs used to it, shouldn't we be able to have them at home? Because owners don't like them messing their own gardens too! Chloe, 11, Magor, South Wales
Hmmmm... what happens if your dog doesn't like it? Bel, 15, Shropshire
I think it's good that people want to do something about dogs leaving there mess on the floor but I don't like the idea about putting them in a kennel. They should just stick to a simple way and use a pooper scooper. Hayley, 11, Milford
If people can't be bothered to use pooper scoopers, they won't trek off to a doggy toilet when their pooch gets desperate! That's a really daft idea. Stephen, 13, Sheffield
It would be a great idea, but what if your dog didn't want to use a doggy loo, and wanted to go right on the path? Lucy, 12, Kent
I think that it's insane!! If the owners love their dogs enough they will clean the mess up!!! Chloe, 11, Uxbridge
It sounds a bit silly to me, because how are you going to train your dog to do its business in a dog toilet!! I think dog owners should pick up their dogs business. Then the government can spend the money on something worth while like a new hospital and hospital beds because they have been complaining of not enough beds, instead of spending it on a dog toilet when people are still going to let the dogs do it on the pavement. Harriet, 12, Manchester
No, its a stupid idea. yes, having dog poo everywhere is disgusting, but I think owners should just go with the traditional method of picking it up and putting it in a bag. My reason for this is because dogs can't talk. How are you supposed to know if they need it, and if they don't? Its just a stupid way of squandering lots of money that should just be given to the poor. Hannan, 13, Newcastle
I think this is a good idea but seems odd maybe if it does work out to keep the streets tidy, then we should consider having them here. Kate, 12, Solihull
I think that it is a good idea but only if they put plenty of dog toilets around the area. My dog needs to go often. Louise, 11, Surrey
Some of us think that it is a good idea, because we hate it when our streets are covered in dog mess, and we think that it is dangerous for smaller children. However Some of our class think that if dog owners love their dogs they should clean up after their pets. 3N Southrise Primary School, London
It's a good idea but I'm not sure if it'll work. My dog would probably just sniff it, then do his business right besides it. Catherine, 15, Burnley
Well it's better than stepping in dog poop on the way to school! Gina, 14, Surrey
A what? Honestly, how much money goes into an insane idea like this? Couldn't they put the money towards a hospital or for endangered species? But I'm being sceptical, why not, it's good for a laugh! Zoe, 12, Nottingham
This is a new idea that no one(until now) has come up with. If it works it will be a cleaner town. No one likes to pick up the mess! Annabelle, 15, Reading
It sounds like a sensible idea, but what if your dog needs to go and you're nowhere near a doggy loo? Joe, 12, Brighton
