What weird names have you heard?
Updated 19 November 2003, 11.02
Brooklyn Beckham
It used to be the craze to name kids after cities - like Brooklyn and Paris.

But now kids in America are being named after brands.

And we're not just talking about the brands that sound like names - how about being called Chevrolet or ESPN?!

Is this an American craze or do you know about this happening over here? If so, tell us the weirdest names you've ever heard.

Perhaps you have a weird name, or there's one you'd like to be called. You may even have a suggestion for the new Royal baby who has yet to be named!

Whatever you think, let us know.

Unfortunately this topic is now closed but there are Comments pages on other subjects on the main Chat index.

opening quoteI think it's terrible. If parents want to show off and get in the news, they should change their own names, not ruin their kids lives because of bullies at school taking the mick. It's just not fair on the kids - they sound ridiculous.closing quote
