A course has been set up in Birmingham to help confused grown-ups learn all about texting and other mobile phone tricks.
So what are your best texting tips for adults?
Tell us what the adults need to learn?

They should say the word and then they will hear what it sounds like..also txt spk takes out a lot of vowels..so adding vowels to some words will help them figure out what it means. Jenna, 13, London
Use predictive text input. This saves you from looking like an idiot by avoiding such bizarre sentences as "prdctv txt inpt sux!!! Txt spk is gr8!!!" Alex, 15, Manchester
Just figure out the sound and swap it for a number or a shoter word.

It's easy, just lose the vowels you don't need, and replace phonics that sound like numbers with real numbers. Leah, 13, Reading
