If at first you don't succeed read the instructions or ask your kids. You can buy text books.
They should say the word and then they will hear what it sounds like..also txt spk takes out a lot of vowels..so adding vowels to some words will help them figure out what it means.

Use predictive text input. This saves you from looking like an idiot by avoiding such bizarre sentences as "prdctv txt inpt sux!!! Txt spk is gr8!!!"

Just figure out the sound and swap it for a number or a shoter word.

It's easy, just lose the vowels you don't need, and replace phonics that sound like numbers with real numbers.

Don't try and use predictive text! I have had many strange texts from my dad involving that invention!
