According to a new report, you lot have it all, TVs, videos, computers, consoles, hi-fis, mobiles...etc.
Do you fit in with the report? Do you and your mates have everything?
Or do you think the report has got it wrong, is there a group of kids you know who have it all, but most of you don't?
I don't have very much like a PlayStation or a TV in my room but I really don't care - I don't think itz material possessions that make u happy.
Kym, 13, Glasgow
Me and my twin have parents who spoil us but that doesn't make us bad people. Just because we're not poor it does not mean we are spoilt brats. Our parents look after us really well, they just make sure we never want for anything. How is that harming us?
Madelyn, 10, St Ives
Some people may be spoilt, but I'm certainly not. I asked my mother for a kinder egg yesterday - about 30p, correct me if I'm wrong. And she said, "No, just wait for Christmas." Christmas!!! That's months away!
Jessica, 14, Bristol
I think that some kids do get way too much. I don't have a mobile, a PC in my room, my own DVD player etc, and I'm glad in a way. It's done me no harm.
John, 14, London
The only reason kids today have more than kids a decade ago is because there is more technology out now.
Cian, 10, Cambridge
I reckon we do get it easy! But is it affecting our future or helping? I don't get all the playstations etc. but my friends do! My parents make me use TV etc. for education! So it depends who you are!
Rrhonwen, 13, Camarthen
The thing is electronic goods cost
less than in the past and the
second-hand market is much larger
as well. In my room I have 2 PCs, a laser
printer, a component Hi-Fi system,
a TV, a satellite receiver, 2 video recorders,
a CD writer, video camera and a telephone.
If you think I am spoilt I will tell you that I
come from a working class family and all my
electronic stuff was bought quite cheaply
second hand. One thing I don't have
is a Playstation!
Max, 15, Tipton
I used to know a girl who was really spoilt and have everything, 'cos she was an only child, but it ruined her life, 'cos her parents went bankrupt buying it all for her! I wouldn't count myself as spoilt. I get £2 pocket money, my bike is second hand, and I only get new clothes and stuff when I need them, not something new every time the fashion changes, but I'm happier than all the spoilt kids I know!
'Scaly' S, 12, Swansea
Well, we don't exactly have everything. For instance, I have parental controls on my internet, and I can't get on all of the web. If kids had everything, we'd be aloud to drive, and there would be no parental controls, and generally, we'd be adults.
Leigh, 9, Chelmsford
We certainly don't have everything!! Ok so we have the technology our parents don't have but we don't have responsibilities yet and we're still tied down at school. When we're older they'll probably say our kids have everything and we'll all think, "Isn't that what they said about us?!"

Naomi, 12, Storrington
I have a PS2, PS1, PC, Sims Hot Date - basically I have everything!!!!!
Jenny, 10, Manchester
I have all of those things but I am not spoiled! I only get one of those items in a year like for my birthday or Christmas normally my treat is a choccy and a magazine as I don't get pocket money so I am not spoiled.
Rachel, 12, Hitchin
We r not spoiled! It's only because new things have been invented but normally it doesn't mean u r lucky if u have mobiles and playstaions because ur mum and dad might be divorced or they might be dead.
Matt, 10, Hitchin
I'm not being mean or anything but one of my friends asks for something and then the next week she gets it. She wanted a computer, she got one, she wanted a hamster she got one, she wanted the Sims, she got it! Catherine, 12, St Helens
I have all that stuff but I'm not spoilt - I have to save my pocket money and do little jobs around the house before I can get any of that - and I'm greatful- some kids don't have any of these. Lynsey, 13, Bucks
I think that u should b happy with wot u hv. Even if u r an only child, it can't b helped if u r spoilt. Anika, 14, Leicester
No way!!!! I don't get spoiled, I sometimes get the odd treat or two like just a couple of days ago I got a new clarinet that cost over £200 but I need that for my music lesson! Lulu, 11, St Neots
I have a PC in my room and we are trying to put a wireless network card in it at the mo so I am using the downstairs PC! I'm not spoilt but I think my parents giving me internet in my room shows their level of trust in me! We don't have lots - it's just the future. Siān, 12, Leicester
I'm sure I could have a lot more than I do, but I prefer buying presents for poorer people. I have family in Yugoslavia, and we always buy them presents because they can't afford them. I think everyone should be more considerate to the less fortunate. Emily, 15, Northwood
Some childern have lots of things but most kids like me don't have PS2s. Katherine, 10, Edinburgh
Me and my sister are spoilt, we have a wide screen TV, a video, a dvd player, a hi fi system, a computer with the internet on it and loads of videos, dvds and cds in our room. Margaret, 12, Belfast
Understandably, some of us have a lot more than maybe our parents had, but I think we're also being pressurized into growing up quicker with exams every second and peer pressure, we don't have it all that easy!!! So I agree, yeah, we have a lot, but that doesn't guarantee it's a cushy life! Anna, 15, Grantham
I think in a material sense we do have a lot. People are forgetting things though, there is a lot more to life than mobile phones and other new gadgets. What about friendship, bravery and social skills? Helen, 14, Birmingham
I think that kids certainly do not have everything these days! OK, we have a lot more than people a long time ago didn't have and we are really privileged, but people are always putting kids down, and saying they spend too much time on the computer etc. I think that technology hasn't taken over every kids life! Everyone keeps on moaning at us kids, but when are they going to actually come into the 21st century, and that the new technology doesn't always have an adverse effect? Charlie, 14, Rickmansworth
Everything? That's a rather loose term. No one, as far as I know, has everything! Some kids have a lot but I'd hope that doesn't mean that they're all materialistic, there are way too many things way more important in the world to be worrying about whether you have the right mobile or latest look. Yet so many people seem to think that's all there is to life. Caroline, 14
We certainly do not have everything! I will admit, we do get a lot and we have a wonderful selection of things to chose from from. We are very lucky to live in this age but why do these 'reports' always put kids down? Sarah, 16, Grimsby
We don't have EVERYTHING, but some kids have lots of stuff either because they get it all for birthdays, or they are just spoilt rotten. I don't mean to have a mobile of my own, but if my bus doesn't come, then what am I going to do if I don't have one? Kate, 12, Aylesbury
I don't have a mobile, I share one so kids don't have everything but I wish we do. Reem, 12, London
The things we have are just luxuries, popstars have expensive cars and expensive houses, so why can't us kids have luxuries too?
 Rachel, 14, London
I can't really deny it, I am a spoilt brat and I do have everything!! Sophia, 13, Essex
SOME don't have anything, eg. the children's parents who are divorced, who have financial difficulties and some children being mistreated, I guess it isn't fair to say that kids have everything, it make the children who don't feel less than others. Yuan Zhang, 13, Chelmsford
I think we have quite a lot, only, some parents are too much living in the 19th century to understand (like mine), so they push new things away, or whatever they think is bad. Arna, 13, Westervoort, Holland
Well in the words of the report I don't think we have it easy. Yes we have a lot more technology but we don't have it easy. We have to live in a time where, for example, crime happens constantly way more than it happened a while back so I think we deserve all that technology because we have to live in this time. Jenny, 15, Derby
Technology keeps going further, so the next generation will have even more. Chantal, 12, Sevenoaks
We're treated too well - in the 1940's people were scared for their lives, now all we're scared of is missing our favourite TV programme! We have it to easy - most of us couldn't survive a day if we went back in time, 'cause now everything is just given to us, when we used to have to work for it. Hannah, 12, Milton Keynes
We have everything compared to our parents when they were our age. Ruth, 14, North West
We don't have 'everything' but we do have a lot, but that's because new things have been invented. Stephen, 11, Gateshead
