Congratulations to Turkey who have won the Eurovision Song Contest.
But what did you think of the result?
Did Turkey perform the best song or do you think another country deserved to win?
Do you think the voting is unfair, do countries just vote for their neighbours?
And was it right that Britain's entry, Jemini, scored a big zero?
Their song was rubbish and we weren't exactly in the same league as them so I don't really care.
Fiona, 12, Norwich
I think it was really wrong to let Tatu in the contest because they are famous and they were bound to get loads of votes coz of it. Plus if we had someone famous singing our song like S CLUB or AUTOMIC KITTEN we would have won.
Donna, 13, Manchester
No, I dont think it was fair to let Tatu enter because they have already had popular hits in Europe so whether the performance was rubbish or not they would still get the points. I think Tatu's performance was rubbish and if they weren't popular, they would have got the same as us, 0 points.
Tom, 13, Coventry
I really like Jemini's song and I think it should get to number one. I have bought it, and I think it is a great single and I think it is just about politics that they didn't win.
Daniel, 15, Southampton
Austria were brilliant! I think England deserved nil.
Chloe, 9, Manchester
I don't bother watching it, I think that the songs are all as bad as each other and I would've given them ALL nil points.
Leah, 13, Reading
The shame!!!!! I can't believe England got 0 points!!! And Austria!! I can't believe they actually got any points!!!!!
Nikhila, 11, Sheffield
I am really pleased that Turkey won. Especially the fact that Cyprus and Greece gave Turkey points, because of all the politics they usually don't, so I think that is really good. Turkey DEFINITLY deserved to win, and England, maybe now you realise that it's not just about you anymore! Way to go, Turkey.
Mustafa, 15, London
Was it just me or did anyone else think that the winning song by turkey sounded just like Holly Valances Kiss Kiss. UK could have at least got 1 point but as Terry Wogan says we were suffering from post iraq war backlash.

Juliet, 15, Norwich
I really wish that Belgium won. They were way better than Turkey. t.A.t.U were rubbish. Screaming isn't a song.
Anika, 14, Leicester
Austria were brilliant. They should have won they were by far the funniest. Jemini were so bad they were lucky to get nil.
Chloe, 9, Manchester
I'm Turkish and stayed up all night to see the results! I can't believe Turkey won! I still can't get over it. My friend knows Sertab Erener they used to be in a choir together but I have never met her! I do feel really sorry for Jemini for scoring nothing they should of least got 1 or 2 points! I think like most people that they didn't get any points for political reasons and it is really stupid. It is not about the country it is about the song. Still I do think turkey did deserve to win - the song was BRILLIANT and it was the best.
Ayse, 9, Kidlington
I didn't like our entry, but I don't think it deserved to get 0 points. It was definitely better than Turkey's entry. But I still think Austria should have won, it was soooo funny!
Haley, 14, Dundee
Jemini were awful! But what I want to know is who chose them to represent Britain anyway? They were a disgrace. Granted they did go along with the Eurovision style of being rubbish, but they went too far. My dad sings better in the shower!
Kimberley, 13, Western Isles
Austria should have won. Everyone loves rabbits and bears! The UK were terrible - Eurovision is about bad songs, but that was just pushing it too far! I also loved Germany's entry. Every year they sing songs about everyone just getting along and being friends - good on them!
Sarah, 15, Bedford
I thought Jemini were awful, Turkey were ok, but Austria definitely should of won. We give Ireland 12 points and they give us 0. It's fixed. Jemini deserved at least a point though just because we went to war and most of Europe disagreed with the war. They were out of tune the minute the music started. Well it's all a load of RUBBISH!!!!!!
Rachel, 10, Wycombe
Not meaning to offend you Ross or Sophie, but maybe Ireland didn't vote for UK because they weren't any good? You are complaining about political voting, but are complaining because it didn't go your way. Besides, the only reason that Mickey Joe got the 12 was because people from Northern Ireland have heard him, and support him. He was chosen from a big competition, he really can sing and plays the guitar. Mickey should have won!

Bronagh, 14, Derry
I think that Turkey shouldn't have won it coz it was soooo boring and rubbish. Austria was funny so that should have won.
Hamna, 8, London
Hum well about Austria for a start - that wasn't even funny bad, it was just BAD. Usually I'd laugh at something like that but seriously it was awful. What was with that cow face stuck on a piece of cardboard?! Ok, Jemini weren't that bad - I know they started by singing a bit out of tune, but they did correct it. And even though I don't like pop 0 points is just WRONG. It's only because we went to war with Iraq, so they're trying to make a point by not giving us any points. But how will that affect the government if we don't win the Eurovision song contest?
Anne, 13, Wirral
I think it's funny that England didn't get any votes! Besides, getting none is better than just one!
Flick, 15, Sussex
I think that our entry was rubbish, but I feel sorry for the singers. Nobody deserves Nil Points, it must have taken loads of bottle to go up there in the first place. Did you see the size of that arena?
 Abi, 12, Exeter
I liked Germany the best. Turkey's song wasn't all that good, but at least they were better than us! We were rubbish. I think the problem is that they can't sing live.
 Amy, 10, Hastings
The United Kingdom entry was awful. How entered them. The Belgium entry wasn't much better and they came second! Can no one hear the fact they are out of tune? Russia came third and where nanotones out with each other. Awful!! Estonia should have won. Sweden second and Iceland or Ireland or Cyprus third. Too much political voting. It is a song contests after all and now we have two a year. It is going to collapses.
 Robert, 14, Cowplain
We weren't the only ones out of tune. Did you hear some of the notes Norway were hitting - and look at how many points they got! The voting is all political anyway so our result was also Iraq war decisions backfiring. We deserve to be relegated even if we are not.
 Louise, 13, Penzance
I don't know why everyone thinks getting nil is bad. At least they tried - think about it, I bet u couldn't do better!!!!
 Sarah, 14, Lancaster
I feel sorry 4 Jemini but they were a bit out of tune - Russia was really rubbish.
 Nada, 13, London
Jemini sung so badly off key I had to mute the TV during their song! It was awful, definitely the worst, and they deserved zero!
 James, 14, Bath
It's political again. Neighbouring countries voted for each other! But some really gud songs this yr! Ireland were especially gud!
 Lisa, 14, Leeds
I thought Jemini were absolutely by far the best at being the worst. Austria should have won because the guy sounded very original. I love U Austria!!!!!
 Forest, 12, Reading
I think Gareth Gates should enter then we'd definitely win. People should sing in their country's language.
 Amanda, 13, Belfast
I think that Britain were absolutely out of tune although I think they got nil points coz all the other countries think they are wrong about all the iraq war. I thought Turkey weren't good.
 Jessica, 14, Newport
Turkey was BIG bunch of rubbish!! Why Belgium didn't win???
 Jaana, 12, Estonia
I didn't see the other acts but I recon that the other acts must have been really pants for Turkey to win cause they were really really bad!
 Rhona, 13, Scotland
I think Turkey's song was good and quite catchy but I wanted Portugal to win. UK were rubbish but I don't think they deserved nil. They should have at least got 1 point!
 Amma, 12, Perivale
I believe it was unfair of us not to give Britain a point even if it was a bad song. Everybody deserves 1 point. I wanted us to win but I thought Estonia's song, "eighties coming back", was good too.
 James, 15, Ireland
Jemini rock! They put on a great show but next year I think we should do a uk garage tune. It would be a big change from the latin sound.
 Ross, 12, Glasgow
Our song sounded horrible. We deserved NIL.
 Mickey
, 12, York
I am so upset that Belgium didn't come first - they were definitely the best. Turkey were rubbish - how did they win? But the UK were however the worst - they were totally out of tune!
 Leo
, 12, Manchester
Why can't all the songs be like Germany's and Austria's; cheesy and funny, like Eurovision!
 Jenny
, 13, Cambridge
I think that Turkey's song was really good, and they were one of many countries that deserved to win. I thought Austria was cool and the Irish song was wicked!
 Emma
, 14, Ashford
I agree with Louis Walsh, Jemini deserved to come last!
 Lizzy
, 12, Ipswich
So Jemini were out of tune. That may be, but I wasn't aware that their song even had a tune, it was so bad! Some of the others weren't much better though, so you did have to feel sorry for them.
 Catherine
, 14, Salisbury
Jemini sang out of tune and Russia were terrible! Personally I think that Belgium, France, Turkey or Ireland should have won. My brother voted for that crazy Austria guy!
 Vivien
, 14, Warrington
I think that although they sang a little out of tune, I don't think UK's entry was that bad. I think it's because of the war in Iraq has caused us to have so many enemies in Europe. I feel sorry for Jemini being blamed for all this. I also thought Austria didn't deserve to do that well!
 Ellie, 14, St Albans
The UK gave Ireland 12 points and what did we get from Ireland, not even 1 point. Jemini was not that bad.
 Sophie, 12, Southend-on-Sea
I thought Russia was rubbish and certainly did not deserve to come second! They were really bad.
 Rebekah, 15, Lowestoft
Jemini's performance was really poor on the night and that's what all the voters saw. Some people voted for their neighbours, but the top five were so far ahead I can't see how this made any difference.
 John, 14, Wells
The reason we didn't win is really to do with the war in Iraq. Us British are now really unpopular. But it wasn't fair on the British singers who at the end of the day gave it their all.
 Melissa, 13, Blackpool
Turkey obviously didn't have the best song, it's all political voting. Jemini sang a bit out of tune but they totally didn't deserve to lose. Austria and Russia were worse but look where they came!
 Naomi, 12, Storrington
I think that Jemini's song was really bad. The backing group were in a different key to the two singers themselves. It was a disaster! I enjoyed Israel's performance, with the tops saying 'I love you' in different languages. Overall I think that Turkey did deserve to win, and it didn't really surprise me that the UK didn't get any points.
 Abi, 11
I think we did much better than some of them. I do not think Turkey had the best song.
 Kirsty, 12, Epsom
Jemini at least deserved one point. Turkey did not deserve to win, Russia or Belgium should have. Britain gave Ireland 12 points and their song was just as good as Jemini's and Ireland gave us 0.
 Gemma, 11, Aberdeen
I don't think Turkey's song should have won, I thought Ireland and Sweden were much better. But most of the countries vote for their neighbours, or the countries they are allied with. It doesn't really have much to do with how good the songs are. UK lost because no one likes us, although the song was pretty awful!
 Jennifer-Anne, 14, Cambridge
The song we had was rubbish and I'm not surprised that we came last. I thought Norway should have won as they were much better than Turkey!
 Helena, 11, Ipswich
I thought it was laughable that Belgium came second in the contest, but I did not think Turkey was the best entry. I preferred Tatu, Russia's entry, but they are already well known. It must be humiliating for Jemini to represent Britain and earn no points, but I don't think they deserved to be last. The voting baffled me in the contest, and I think most countries did vote for their neighbours. Next year I won't be watching the Eurovision.
 Sophia, 13, Essex
I thought we should have beaten Turkey, I don't know why no-one voted for United Kingdom, they were good.
 Ellis, 11, Dartford
I think that France, Ireland or Iceland should have won. Tatu were rubbish! Although they sang out of tune, Jemini should have got 4 or 5 points.
 Judith, 12, Belfast
I think Jemini should have won, their song was very catchy. I don't think the UK should have come in last place!
 Natalie, 15, Plymouth
I know our song was really bad (come on now, it was the worst one!) but 0 points is just out of order. I mean we gave Ireland 12 points and they didn't even give us 1 point. The Eurovision's so political these days and the people who chose their song on their political views are absolutely pathetic. We simply didn't deserve to get trounced like that just because of the war in Iraq.
 Ross, 15, St Andrews
The lady in Jemini started off singing in the wrong key and she didn't correct it. The whole song sounded a shambles. No wonder we came last!
 Sophie, 15, Leatherhead
I personally thought Turkey weren't very good. The United Kingdom definitely didn't deserve to score 0 points. And I think a lot of the votes were just given to the countries near to each other which is very unfair. Belgium were really rubbish and Russia shouldn't have had Tatu performing anyway.
 Oliver, 15, Leeds
We were rubbish, Turkey was rubbish and the overall show wasn't too great. Next time we really have to get someone with an original song who can sing in front of a live audience.
 Sarah, 13, Ireland
Am I the only one who thinks that Austria was amazing? All the other countries tried dead hard and he just came on with this mad song. I was rooting for him throughout. I don't think Jemini deserved to be last - Belgium and Tatu's songs were worse, it's all political anyway. - big up the Austrian guy!
 Al, 14, Southport
Well I think Turkey had a really good song and I wasn't surprised that the UK didn't get a single point coz our song was rubbish! But I also liked Greece's song!
 Helen, 11, Isle of Wight
I thought Turkey had a good song but Jemini just didn't hit the right notes!
 Hannah, 12, Lancaster
I think Turkey did really well and I know Setab worked hard on it, so congratulations to her. It is the first time they won.
 Diyar, 13, Kingston
Jemini should have got at least one point, even if they did sing out of tune!
 Deane, 15, Birmingham
To be honest, I never watched it, but I have heard the song Cry Baby by Jemini, and I didn't like it. It used the word 'baby' too much and I think that's why it didn't work.
 Felicity, 11, Scotland
Turkey's song was catchy and I liked it. I think that we didn't get any points because of the war and how people were against it. Let's hope that next year we have a better song and do well - and hope that we at least get one point!
 Francesca, 14, London
It wasn't the best song - I liked one or two of the others. And although Jemini weren't much good, they didn't deserve to lose so spectacularly! But go Turkey!
 Maddy, 13, Poole
The winners should have been Germany, I thought they were pretty good.
 Sophie, 10, Gosport
I don't think Turkey had the best song, I much preferred Sweden's. But I did think that Jemini sang out of tune, maybe that's why they didn't get any points! Jessica, 13, Bristol
