Rocking dad Eric Clapton has helped his daughter's school by playing a gig there to raise money for computers and equipment.
We reckon that's pretty cool!
But have YOUR parents ever done anything that you're proud of?
Maybe your dad rescued a dog from certain doom, or you step-mum stopped an out of control train.
My mum is extra cool she had a number 2 haircut and then died it pink with food colouring!! Charley, 12, Modbury
My mum and dad are really cool - my mum went to see Travis with me and my mate and my dad is always treating us. Gordon, 13, Aberdeen
My mum dyed her hair blue and green for charity. It stayed liked that for six months! Alice, 14, Askett
When my mum was really young she used to live in a double decker bus!
 Grace, Tavistock
My mum and dad took me and my oldest brothers to see the Red Hot Chili Peppers not long ago and it was amazing!! My mum is really good at art and she made these really good plastic handbags (i know it sounds weird but they're really cool) and they went in a local art museum for about 2 weeks.
 Eleanor, 12, Wales
My mum and dad don't have 2 do ne thing to make me think they're cool, I think they're the best anyway, but they always spoil me and they don't have to, but I luv em!!
 Lisa, 13, Manchester
My parents are really cool because they have to put up with me and that must be pretty hard. You would agree if you ever met me (trust!!!)

My Mum went so see Feeder with me, and she has been to the V festival 4 times also with me! So I reckon she deserves a clap! But my Dad's cool too, he takes me and my brother to see the local footie club most Saturdays!
 Clare, 13, Essex
My dad is great! He played rugby for his university, and has loads of trophies for long jumps. When he left school, he worked as a miner in South Africa and set off the 2nd biggest explosion in the world! My dad rocks!
 Rosie, 12
My mum went on Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway last Saturday.
 Sarah, 14, London
My mum went to see the Foo Fighters before Christmas!
 Marrianne, 14, London
My Dad has been referee for my football team Notley Youth F.C. He hurt his ankle and back and continued to play. If he had not stayed referee, the match would have been cancelled!

I'm sooo proud of my Dad, he's been in the Navy for around 15 years, he's broken the record for the longest time taking part in Fieldgun, he's been to the Falklands and helped people during the war!
 Sophie, 11, France
They've looked after me for 11 years which I think is pretty cool seeing as I'm a bit of a nuisance!
 Catherine, 11, St Helens
My dad used to play for Rangers, Patrick Thistle, and Scotland Juniors, so I think he's the best dad in the world, and the best footie player! He's better than Beckham!
 Megan, 11, Glasgow

 Elizabeth, 12, Ipswich
Mum is fantastic - she is a single parent with three daughters, she has to find the time to work and pay the bills, but also let me come out of school and be home educated! She's always happy and lovable, and she has an imaginary elephant called Ermentrude which lives under her bed, which I think is pretty cool!
 Ceinwen, 13, Wales
My dad works with the homeless every weekend, which I think is wicked! Chris, 12, Norwich
