If you're a Simpsons fan then listen up because creator Matt Groening has hinted that the top cartoon may soon be coming to an end!
This would mean no more doughnut eating moments for Homer, bad hair days for Marge, or bad boy antics for Bart!
Do you think the Springfield lot has run out of steam? Or is the Simpsons so good you think it should could go on forever?

I'm an optimist I'm just gonna say that it's only be hinted. So keep your fingers crossed.

The Simpsons always makes me laugh when the boring adult news is on. My afternoons will never be the same without the Simpsons.

I'm sad about the Simpsons being cancelled as it is one of the funniest shows around, but we can still see Matt Groening's amazing writing talent in the brilliant Futurama. It doesn't get the recognition it deserves!

Viva The Simpsons! I dread to think what'll replace it. It's the best ever cartoon and I love it lots! Don't go Homer, we love you!

I have watched the Simpsons for as long as I can remember. It makes my day, I can keep laughing about one episode for weeks.
Georgie, 12, London
I must be the biggest Simpsons fan ever and my life will be over if it isn't on TV anymore. I have an idea how we can save the show. If every fan makes up the events that could happen in one episode imagine how many episodes there would be.

I love simpsons and my life won't be the same with out it.

The Simpsons is a good cartoon, but really, haven't peole just had enough?
I think the Simpsons should go on forever, no-one can go on without the doh! of Homer or the nagging of Marge or even the cleverness of Lisa! Without Apu's friendly "good bye, thank you, come again" or Moe's bar.
Jodie, 9, Bristol
Simpsons are brill. Why should Groening cancel it? If the Simpsons finish, a chapter of childhood will be destroyed. I will be sad and my TV life won`t be the same again!

I have not met one person who has said that they hate the Simpsons. I love the series and I really, really hope they don't come to an end!

My favourite TV show just got cancelled (Ally McBeal) and it's really sad I know, but these things happen. Matt Groening has done lots of great Simpsons episodes, so let him move on now!

What would the world be like without them. They can't stop making the show. If they do, all children will be bored out of their minds. If they need new ideas, why don't they let them grow up a few years, make Bart and Lisa teens and Maggie about the age they are now?
Wayne, 16, Newcastle upon Tyne
TV won't be the same without the Simpsons. Please don't end the best show ever.

This news is awful! I love The Simpsons, it's the best show in the world and if it ends I'll be one of the billions of fans gutted!
Sarah, 15, Grimsby
I think a Simpsons movie should be made, then Matt Groening would find out just how many people love the cartoon.

It was funny at first, but now it's just got to the point that it isn't that funny anymore.
