I didn't like the way they missed so much out and changed bits but the Quidditch matches were really good. It didn't live up to my expectations.

Jessie, 13, London
It was absolutely amazing! I'd go and see it again! Although I'd recommend to read the book first, or otherwise it might be a bit confusing! But it was great!

Alice, 15, Bristol
I think Harry Potter was very good and the computer graphics were wicked. I hope there will be another Harry Potter.

Ashley, 12, Paignton
The film was BRILLIANT!! There were just so many good actors, the special effects looked sooo real. Can't wait till the second one is made!

Sarah, 11, Gillingham
The film was great, but they left out loads of
really important bits.

Rachel, 10, Lewisham
I thought the film was great! I thought all the actors played their characters great. I also think Malfoy is gorgeous, but he needs to do something with his hair!

Sarah, 12, Mapperly
It was scary but I liked it.

Sarah, 5, Keswick
The film was OK, but Harry's scar looked like it was drawn on with a felt tip pen and Dudley and Aunt Petunia's hair was brown when it was supposed to blonde!

Ali, 13, Poole
I thought I would be too old for the film but it is quality and I can't wait for Lord of the Rings!

Danny, 16, Bury
It wasn't as good as I hoped, but Ron was a good actor. The book was a lot better and they didn't do enough Quidditch matches.

Podge, 11, Harpenden
The movie overall was really good, but the book is far better. Anyway, what is the point of making a film when you can't include all of the book?

Hannah, 11, South Petherton
The film was brill it was better than the books because they were very hard to get into at first.

Gemma, 10, Waterlooville
I thought it was way too short; the scenes passed SO quickly that if you hadn't read the book you almost wouldn't have understood what was going on. There wasn't the same element of excitement that's in the book but I still enjoyed it. Some of the scenes were fantastic.

Lara, 11, London
I thought the Harry Potter movie was ok but not brilliant.

Gregory, 9, Leicester
It was great! I liked the Quidditch parts best, and Fluffy! The books were better though.

Katie, 13, Midlands
Even though I haven't seen the film yet, the clips look wicked! In the book Harry Potter's hair was meant to be messy but it doesn't look it!

Francesca, 9, Rugby
I think the movie was quite good although it didn't live up to my expectations. It wasn't worth all the hype but fans will be happy. A film can never be better than a book.

Ipsita, 12, London
I thought that the movie was brilliant but the book was even better. I think that they missed out some of the best bits in the book.

Jack, 9, Liverpool
I think the movie was really good but they left a few of the best things out. I really wanted to see Peeves the poltergeist but I still think it was great

Alison, 11, Dublin
The film was good but they changed the storyline.

Lucy, 11, Leeds
I was quite disappointed with the film as all my favourite parts were missed out and I was disappointed with some of the characters! .

Sarah-Marie, 10, Stretford
I think the Harry Potter movies great, although it did seem to miss a lot out from the books! I would like to have seen more of Fred and George!

Becky, 9, Liverpool
The Harry Potter movie was good but some parts were really boring and the books are better.

Clare, 10, Henley
I think that the film is wicked although it had
missed some parts out, I thought the actors made up for it.

Fahad, 12, Harrow
I thought the new Harry Potter was over rated by too much hype, and I thought it didn't live up to it's expectation.

Tom, 15, Hull
I thought it was excellent and Harry Potter was unbelievable fighting against Voldemort - I wish I was Harry Potter!

Thomas, 7, Bracknell
The Quidditch and the Voldermort scene was wicked. They missed some bits out though. I really wanted to see a dragon bite!

Jasmeet, 12, Langley
I thought the movie was ok, but it was not as good as I had expected it to be.

Stuart, 9, Ellesmere
I thought the film was great, it truly lived up to the book.

Sara, 11, Barking
I thought that it was very good I like it when they played wizard chest it was quite scary at times but it can be quite funny.

Mhairi, 8, Edinburgh
I saw Harry Potter on Saturday and it was great the film. It wasn't a disappointment but the books are still better.

Anne-Marie, 12
I think the whole Harry Potter thing is well over the top! There is much more important things happening in the world, like in Afghanistan and Northern Ireland and people are going on about Harry Potter!!

Katy, 11
I think the Harry Potter movie was totally over-hyped!

Emma
On Saturday 10th, I was very lucky to have been able to go
and see the Harry Potter movie preview. And to be honest, I thought it
was quite rubbish. It was nothing like the book, and I had expected a lot better!

Amy
It was really good, even though they missed a few bits out. The Quidditch was way the best bit!!! Now Iżm just worried that when they get to the fourth book, it'll be too long for 2 1/2 hours!!!

Uranda, 12, London
It was a little better than my expectations, I think all three of the mail characters (as well as McGonagall and Malfoy) did a GREAT job! But who designed Malfoy's hair...?

Christine, 14, Batavia
It WAS excellent but I could have sat for longer if they added a bit more detail. I thought Emma Watson's acting wasn't brilliant but Rupert was brill. I think Daniel Radcliffe is GORGEOUS!!!

Jessica, 13, London
I didn't think it was any good. People made a big fuss but it's TERRIBLE!! The Weasley twins acting was the worst part...

Freya, 12, Abingdon
I didn't think it was any good. People made a big fuss but it's TERRIBLE!! The Weasley twins acting was the worst part...

Freya, 12, Abingdon
I thought it was excellent! The only problem was, it was too short. I know it was about 2 and a half hours long, but to see every single detail from the books and sit there for another 2 hours wouldn't have bothered me.

Becky, 13, Bournemouth
I really liked it including the Halloween bit where pumpkins were floating, plus when Hagrid kept on saying "I shouldn't have told yer that".

Katherine, 11, Bedford
Harry Potter is wicked the special affects are wicked. I recommend this film to every one. U have got 2 C this film!

Jack, 11, Burnham
I went to see it last night and I think it is really wicked!! I liked the part when they played Quidditch because the special effects made it really, really brill!! Thumbs up to Harry Potter!!

Chloe, 11, Reading
Harry Potter was the best film I've seen this year. The special effects were amazing. I really enjoyed it! A pity they missed out some parts though.

Ellie, 14, Norwich
I thought the movie was brilliant!! I thought Rupert was WICKED!

Mary, 10, Gloucester
It was amazin'! All the characters are brilliant and really suit their parts. Hagrid is sooo sweet! Malfoy is pure evil!

Alex, 14, London
The effects were brilliant! The storyline was great! The acting (except Ron's) was very disappointing!

Rachael, 13, Preston
It was wicked. I loved it. I thought Ron was really funny. Hermione was really fab. I thought Harry was excellent. I can't wait to see it again.

Sophie, 6, Harpenden
I thought the Harry Potter movie was buzzin! It was absolutely wicked.

April, 12, Wakefield
I can't believe how good it was. They did miss a lot out though but they conjured up the magic in just 3 hours, WOW!

Kate, 12, Essex
I saw a special screening of Harry Potter, I thought it was fabulous and I am going to see it again on Sunday 18th November. I liked the Voldermort scene and also I liked the chess scene.

Alexander, 10, Grays
The movie was way better than I thought it would be and the special effects were brilliant.

Sasha, 11, London
