  Singing dingo brings in tourists
Updated 30 January 2004, 20.04
This dingo looks like he's singing
A singing dingo has become Australia's newest tourist attraction.

Two-year-old Dinky used to roam with a pack of wild dogs in central Australia. The dogs were being killed off, but Dinky was saved by Jim Cotterill.

It wasn't long before Dinky started joining in when Jim's daughters began playing the piano and singing.

Now tourists are flocking from miles around to check out Dinky's talents at Jim's roadhouse at Stuart's Well, 60 miles south of Alice Springs.

Dinky "plays" the piano by strutting across the keyboard.

Happy song

"He'll sing to anything really, but he prefers a happy song," said the roadhouse manager.
