Escaped bull on rampage injures woman
Updated 27 May 2003, 10.33
A bull
We've all heard the saying "like a bull in a china shop".

But now it's the case of a bull in an antiques shop.

A bull which had escaped from a cattle market went on a violent rampage and burst into an antiques store.

Sad ending

The charging creature knocked over a woman and broke loads of valuables in the shop in Lancashire.

The woman was taken to hospital with bruising but is doing fine.

Eventually staff managed to catch the bull and shut it in a showroom.

Unfortunately, the story has a sad ending.

The creature had to be killed because police thought it was a danger to the public.
